Presentation of the book by Doctor of Political Science Hrachya Arzumanyan: “Horizons: A Comprehensive Approach to Building a National Security System” took place in Yerevan.
The book addresses the issues of a comprehensive approach to security. Modern conflicts, unfolding in both traditional and new domains of war, require this approach. As Hrachya Arzumanyan said in an interview with ArmInfo correspondent, the book addresses the oretical issues and traces the history of the formation and development of a comprehensive approach to security through studying the experience of a number of countries. Special attention is paid to the development of some aspects of the comprehensive defense and security system of Armenia, the deployment of which will require profound changes in state institutions and society. It also touches upon the use of hybrid warfare methods within the framework of a comprehensive approach, as well as the changes in the existing vision of war that are taking place as a result of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The book was published with the assistance of the Koghb Foundation. The head of the foundation, Arman Barseghyan, said that the book will contribute to a better understanding of the political history of Armenia, to understanding the path passed by the Armenian statehood and will serve the cause of restoring the Armenian state sovereignty.
