Vladimir Grigoryan leaves post of adviser to Artsakh president

Vladimir Grigoryan announced that he no longer serves as advisor to the President of the Republic of Artsakh.

He informed that his yesterday’s interview with the RFE/RL’s Armenian Service gave rise to various speculations.

“It is for this reason that I consider it necessary to note that this was my personal comment, which at the moment does not express any official position. I also inform you that I am no longer an adviser to the President of the Republic of Artsakh,” Grigoryan wrote on his Facebook page.

Earlier, Grigoryan said that the decree of Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan on the abolition of the Republic of Artsakh is illegal and has no legal force. The ruling force of Armenia, as well as the media and telegram channels affiliated with the government, reacted quite sharply to this statement by Grigoryan. He was accused of trying to torpedo the peace process between Baku and Yerevan.
