The CEC processed 100% of the ballots. Counting of ballots over in Armenia snap parliamentary elections

As of 8:25am Monday, the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia has completed the counting of the ballots in Sunday’s snap parliamentary elections. The results from all 2,008 polling stations have been tallied.

The votes were distributed as follows:

1. Civil Contract Party: 53.92%

2. “Armenia” bloc: 21.04%

3. “I Have the Honor” bloc: 5.23%

4. Prosperous Armenia Party: 3.96%

5. Republic Party: 3.04%

6. Armenian National Congress Party: 1.54%

7. Shirinyan-Babajanyan Alliance of Democrats: 1.5%

8. National People’s Pole: 1.47%

9. Bright Armenia Party: 1.22%

10. “5165” National Conservative Movement: 1.22%

11. Liberal Party: 1.17%

12. Armenian Homeland Party: 1.03%

The other 13 political forces have garnered far fewer votes.

It is noteworthy that the ruling Civil Contract Party has recorded a worse indicator in Yerevan; in the capital, the party, led by acting PM Nikol Pashinyan, has received only 41% of the votes.
