Past daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: It is not for nothing that they say that you will know the truth either from the smallest in the house, or from the one who is in an intoxicated state. It is clear that in this case, in a figurative sense.
One of the small satellites of the CC [i.e. the ruling Civil Contract Party and its parliamentary faction] “house” declares that the Armenian Apostolic Church must be destroyed. Here, in an interview with H1 [state-funded television of Armenia], [former PM and defense minister, the late] Vazgen Sargsyan’s brother stated (the quote is verbatim):
“I am definitely of the opinion that the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church is our last link in the chain of link to Russia, and that link must be destroyed, definitely.” First, (…), let’s analyze the statement made from the standpoint of classical logic, although there is nothing to analyze, it is so obvious. He says: The AAC [i.e. the Armenian Apostolic Church] is a link connecting Russia. And that link must be destroyed immediately.
Let’s go back again. What was that link? Right, the [Armenian Apostolic] Church. Simple, short, specific, without variations… [PM Nikol] Pashinyan’s sworn supporter and comrade-in-arms (…) says very directly, in an open text: the [Armenian Apostolic] Church must be destroyed. “The link (i.e., the [Armenian Apostolic] Church) must be destroyed.” That is, they must destroy, or intend to destroy the Armenian Apostolic Church.
That is, they no longer hide that their objective is to destroy our National Church. And the fact that they connect it with Russia, or rather, with breaking away from Russia, clearly shows where the instruction from Pashinyan, the CC, and its satellites to destroy the church comes from, what organized forces are operating here and in this matter.
