Global geopolitics is once again focusing on Syunik. Not long ago, all centers of power claimed that the issue of the South Caucasus, and in particular Syunik, was peripheral. However, Syunik cannot be peripheral as it is a pivotal element for the fate of the Communicator in the Armenian Highlands. Moreover, Syunik ensures the continuity of the Indo-European civilizational space. For more than a century, HAYK has successfully defended Syunik.
Today, this issue has become relevant again. The parasitic system seeks to turn the entire territory into a 21st-century racketeering space. This is the underlying reason for the coalition of racketeers’ campaign against Artsakh in 2025. The task of all regional countries that create civilizations is to prevent the racketeers’ victory. For this, various instruments must be employed, the most important of which are military and economic.
The most important military instrument is the formation of the HAYK Civilizational Council Peace Corps for total control over the entire territory of Syunik. All interested parties must participate in the formation of such a corps, including units composed of ethnic Armenians from each side. The Corps has a unified military command under the sovereign authority of the Republic of Armenia. On the Corps’ platforms, each side accredits its political representatives, whose role is to coordinate the interests of all participants. Essentially, the political platforms within the Corps perform the functions of the Communicator in harmonizing the interests of all parties. The creation of such a corps will permanently resolve any question of third-party military interference.
Among economic instruments, the key is the economic integration of the wide agglomeration around Syunik, both on Armenian and Iranian territories. For this, a transportation network between Iran and Armenia through Syunik should be established as soon as possible, including both road and railway connections (which should have been created 30 years ago). If the military instrument provides protection from external interference, the economic instrument ensures internal stability and reduces the influence of various power factors.
