Pashinyan on possibility of Armenia addressing CSTO and Russia

If the situation develops in such a way, then, of course, Armenia will address the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), or it might directly address Russia. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan told Interfax when asked if Yerevan will address the CSTO and Russia in case of escalation of hostilities and the movement along the entire length of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“We have already informed our colleagues of the CSTO about the current situation. Russia has declared that Moscow will stay true to the commitments towards Armenia in the security sector. If the situation develops in such a way, then, of course, Armenia will address the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), or it might directly address Russia,” he said.
